Active NAADAC membership is required to enroll and must remain active for the full credential period, for all paths.
Path A — NAADAC Professional Associates
Current NAADAC Professional Associates (PAs) enter the AADAC directly — no ADACP required. The Year 1 enrollment fee is waived, so no payment is collected on this path — only name and contact information are needed.
Path C — ADACC Holders (Great Plains ADA Center)
Holders of the ADA Coordinator Certificate (ADACC) from the Great Plains ADA Center (adacoordinator.org / ACTCP) may be considered for the AADAC through an individual evaluation pathway. This is not a self-service enrollment — no registration form or payment link is needed for this path.
Evaluation process:
- Credential Verification — ADACC must be current and in good standing, verified directly with adacoordinator.org. Expired or lapsed credentials are not accepted.
- Professional Experience Review — applicant documents a minimum of two years of active ADA coordinator or ADA compliance practice, with evidence of senior-level responsibilities.
- Training Content Review — applicant submits documentation of ACTCP sessions/content completed; NAADAC reviews against AADAC competency expectations to determine readiness for the practicum model.
Admission is reviewed case-by-case and is not automatic. ADACC training hours do not count toward AADAC credit requirements; applicants approved through this pathway enter the AADAC program directly.
