NAADAC has always offered the field’s best ADA coordinator and ADA professional training. In 2026, that training has expanded — new curriculum, new advanced sessions, and two new credentials for professionals seeking to validate their specific competencies and support their career trajectory. The ADA Coordinator Professional (ADACP) is NAADAC’s first structured certification, built around the full conference experience. The Advanced ADA Coordinator (AADAC) goes further: new advanced sessions designed for experienced coordinators, deeper than anything previously offered — including sessions that expand on what Professional Associates have experienced before. If you have been coming to NAADAC for years, there is now more here for you.
ADA Coordinator Professional
ADACP — ADA Coordinator Professional
NAADAC’s first structured certification. A two-year credential for ADA coordinators and other ADA professionals at any career stage, built around two NAADAC Annual Conferences and nine core inter-conference webinars (delivered December 2026–April 2027).
- 40 credits minimum (~34 Core + at least 6 Elective)
- Two in-person NAADAC Annual Conferences
- Nine Core inter-conference webinars (W1–W9)
- Retroactive credit for qualifying sessions since January 1, 2026
- Open-book, scenario-based knowledge assessment
- Enroll anytime — credits retroactive if enrolled by November 8, 2027

Advanced ADA Coordinator
AADAC — Advanced ADA Coordinator
The first advanced-level credential in the ADA coordinator field. For experienced ADA coordinators and other ADA professionals advising leadership, managing complex compliance programs, and representing their organizations in enforcement and litigation.
Delivered through the AADAC Practicum — discussion-driven working sessions that during the 2026–2027 rollout are open to every conference attendee as ADACP electives.
- 23 advanced credits minimum across four competency areas
- Small AADAC group — direct faculty engagement throughout
- Capstone practicum strongly recommended (+4 cr)
- Prerequisite: ADACP or NAADAC Professional Associate direct-entry pathway
- PA holders: direct entry, Year 1 enrollment fee permanently waived ($0)

NAADAC Professional Associates — Your Direct Path to the AADAC
Current PA holders enter the AADAC directly — no ADACP required. Your approximately 66 credit hours of NAADAC conference training are recognized as your foundation. Year 1 enrollment fee: $0.
Holders of the ADA Coordinator Certification (ADACC) — adacoordinator.org / ACTCP
Holders of the ADA Coordinator Certification (ADACC), issued through the ADA Coordinator Training Certification Program (ACTCP) at adacoordinator.org, may inquire about an individual evaluation pathway into the AADAC. Admission is reviewed case-by-case — it is not automatic and is distinct from the PA direct-entry pathway.
Applicants will typically be asked to provide a record of courses completed through the ACTCP program, relevant professional experience as an ADA coordinator, and any other applicable background. Exact requirements and the evaluation process will be provided upon inquiry. Contact NAADAC to begin that conversation.
The ACTCP has served coordinators well at the foundational level. The AADAC is designed for coordinators who are ready to go further — into advanced legal analysis, sector leadership, and strategic program management that the ACTCP program was not designed to address.
Enrollment Fees
NAADAC membership is required to enroll in either program and must remain active throughout your credential period. Individual: $250/year ($195/year launch rate for new members within 60 days of announcement). Organizational: $450/year.

Every NAADAC session you attend from 2026 onward earns credits — whether or not you are enrolled. Enroll anytime before November 8, 2027 and your 2026 conference attendance counts retroactively. Nothing is wasted.
