Janel Bravo is the Deputy Director of Human Resources and the Statewide ADA Coordinator for the Colorado Judicial Department where she has been employed since September 2007. Janel works closely with the ADA Coordinators in each of the 23 judicial districts, providing guidance on ADA-related requests/questions under Title I and II.
Janel also oversees Career Services, Employee Benefits, HR Systems and Data, Payroll, Total Compensation and Classification and the State Court Administrator’s Office Administrative Specialist.
Previously, Janel supervised the Human Resources Analyst team comprising 2 supervisors and 4 Human Resources Analysts who provide human resources support throughout the Colorado Judicial Department. Janel provides advice and consultation to Chief Judges, Court Executives, Chief Probation Officers, Division Directors, and Employees regarding human resources issues, including the interpretation and application of personnel rules, human resources laws, performance management, facilitating mandatory trainings, and conducting investigations.
