What is a Professional Associate (PA) Certification and how can I obtain it?
NAADAC awards a Professional Associate Certificate to eligible NAADAC associates who have developed significant ADA expertise. All associates whose PA applications were approved on or before December 1, 2024, may achieve their Certificate by accumulating a total of 66 continuing education credits (CEUs) on or before December 31, 2027. All PA applicants who applied and were approved after December 1, 2024, can earn their PA Certificate by completing a total of 66 continuing education training credits (CEUs) at NAADAC conferences or other NAADAC-Board-Approved training events within a period of five consecutive years from the date of the PA application’s approval. The NAADAC Board will grant CEU credit to PA associates who document the completion of virtual courses provided by the State of Georgia ADA Coordinator’s Office.
The one-time PA application fee is $250(USD) per individual associate and $450(USD) per organizational associate.
Interested applicants must submit a written application (Word) or written application (PDF) and pay the one-time application fee to be considered and will be notified within 10 business days if their application has been approved or declined. If your application is not approved, your application fee will be refunded within 10 business days thereafter. Otherwise, PA applications may be cancelled only upon a written request that is received within 60 days after the date of the application; whereupon, your application fee will be refunded within 10 business days.
All cancellation and refund requests must be emailed to Brian Nelson at brian.nelson1333@gmail.com or naadacemail@gmail.com.
